I continue to look positively to the future and aim to be out and about photographing new images of Scotland during 2010. 

It is currently mid July 2010 and images in the Scottish Events portfolio include photos of the 'Rat Race Urban Adventure 2010' Edinburgh event. In mid-June 2010 and I returned from Chania, on the island of Crete in Greece, temperature of 40 degrees and almost to hot to take photographs, see these images in Travel Portfolio, Greece. Also in the Travel Portfolio, Scotland, images of sail boats berthed on Loch Leven, Ballachulish, Lochaber, Northern Scotland. In May 2010 the O'Neill Cold Water Classic surfing competiton was once again held in Thurso, Caithness, Scotland, these images are in the Watersports Portfolio plus early in the year Scotland saw the return of the heavy snowfall, on this occasion it was more north of Perthshire than in the central belt.  Latest photo stock images on the site are of Winter Snow scenes in Lochaber including the iconic Rannoch Moor and Buachaille Etive Mor mountain, 

 In December 2009 images were taken of the snow event in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh, and there are images of various illuminations during Edinburgh Winter New Year celebrations 2009 and New Years Day events 2010.  There are also several recent images of the Jacobite Steam Train, the majority of these include the locomotive crossing the Glenfinnan viaduct.

 In July photos of The Gathering Edinburgh, Homecoming Scotland 2009 were added to the Scottish Events section, these include photographs of Prince Charles and Camilla plus the various events which took place during the 25th and 26th July. Recent additions also include images from USA within the Travel Portfolio.

 During the first quarter of this year I travelled up to Glenmore near Aviemore below the Cairngorms and also the Glencoe area in Northern Scotland to gather new Scottish winter landscape images, although we did not have the prolonged snow fall that the south of England had there were two spectacular events of snowfall, images of these can be seen in the Scotland section of the website.

As in 2008, I travelled up to Thurso, Caithness at the end of April 2009 for the O'Neil Cold Water Classic surfing competition formerly known as 'O'Neill Highland Open', more images from this event will be uploaded shortly.

I also recently uploaded images from a trip to Venice Italy.

Currently, I am editing images taken on a trip to USA including Chicago, San Francisco and Yosemite National Park so these should be available to view before end of July 2009.

Unfortunately, August 2008 in Edinburgh and most of the UK was rather dull and boring weather for photography, however, pictures were taken during the Fringe and these can also be found on the above link.
